Hello there. I'm Andrew and on any given day, you'll find me rummaging the fridge like it's my own Chopped Challenge. I am compelled to cook – for fun, for therapy, for friends and family. As a hungry, chubby teen, watching TV sparked my curiosity. Jamie Oliver reruns got me glued for hours, and one day my mother remarked, "Why don't you make something for us?" The rest, as they say, is history.
Like Bourdain, I scour, research, and orientate my travels through the lens of the cuisine and its people. Like Marco (you know the one), I sweat the details because "perfection is a lot of little things done well." And like my boy Lucas Sin, I freaking love Chinese cuisine and think it transcends the narrow purview of Michelin.
I love to eat, I live to eat, and the sheer amount of cooking techniques I will never master just daunts me each and every day. Here's to quiet mastery, one day at a time.
